Looking Ahead: October 21 city council meeting

The Hyattsville City Council meeting on Monday is light on new spending approvals, but includes an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) money update and a discussion of property tax programs. While not specifically on the agenda, city treasurer Ronald Brooks said at the last council meeting on October 7, 2024 that he had asked Lindsey + Associates, the city’s external auditor, to present on the fiscal year 2022 audit at the upcoming meeting and also planned to present a report on FY 2024 finances. FY 2024 ended June 30, 2024.
