Hyattsville city council posted the agenda for its June 10, 2024 city council meeting. Council is scheduled to do a final vote on the fiscal year 2025 budget, as well as an ordinance authorizing up to $17.5 million in general obligation bonds. Also on the agenda: a $2 million contract with Motorola for police dispatch and communication equipment, plus $560,000 for four years of maintenance. $650,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will cover part of the cost. The council plans to conclude the meeting with a closed session “to discuss the performance evaluation and compensation of an employee.”
